Bringing Non-University Dining Services Food Onto Campus:
Many student organizations find that providing refreshments at meetings increases attendance; however, many organization budgets are limited. Organizations may provide refreshments other than those available from UNIVERSITY DINING SERVICES at a group meeting only if the following conditions are met:
- The student organization is officially recognized by the ASBSU.
- The meeting is a regularly scheduled meeting, not a special event.
- Only group members will be present at the meeting. No members of the public may be in attendance.
- This policy applies to all departments, facilities and areas of Boise State.
To be reimbursed for the purchase of the food:
- Purchase the food and get an ITEMIZED receipt. Click here for an example of an itemized receipt. No receipt, no reimbursement-that's the state's rules. If you pay with a credit card, include the original credit card slip showing the final payment.
- To be reimbursed for the off campus food purchase:
- Complete an ASBSU Requisition Form
- Complete an Entertainment Expense Form (page 2 of the requisition form)
- Proof of a "business purpose" for the expense. Click here for why.
- A flyer announcing the event
- An agenda or minutes
- Copy of an e-mail announcing the event or meeting
